Member for Narracan Gary Blackwood has congratulated five local CFA groups that will receive funding from the 2015/16 Volunteer Emergency Services Equipment Program (VESEP).
Mr Blackwood said the program assisted emergency service agencies with the purchase of life-saving equipment, trucks, boats and funds minor upgrades.
“Local emergency service volunteers make a significant contribution to supporting and protecting our communities and it’s important they are supported with the equipment they need to meet the challenges they face,” Mr Blackwood said.
“I congratulate the successful applicants and encourage other volunteer emergency service groups to look at what projects they might need and consider applying for a future grant.”

- Trafalgar CFA – Car
- Trida CFA – ULT
- Warragul CFA – Specialist Vehicle
- Westbury CFA – Amenities Upgrade
