The Liberal Nationals will provide a $200,000 boost to Olivia’s Place to support their important community work if elected this November.
The Liberal Nationals are committed to supporting carers in our community.
Olivia’s Place is a family support service established in 2012 focused on supporting families through pregnancy and early parenting for the first 12 months following the birth of their child.
Only a Liberal Nationals Government will support those during pregnancy and the early parenting period.
Comments attributable to Member for Narracan, Gary Blackwood:
“Olivia’s place is a vital community service who provides much needed support for families in the early days of becoming parents.
Olivia’s Place staff and volunteers are doing ground breaking work not only in Warragul but in and around the local community, assisting families with essential equipment and appropriate referrals.”
Comments attributable to Committee Member for Family and Community Development, Cindy McLeish:
“Gary Blackwood has been working closely with Olivia’s Place to support our families in the community during pregnancy and early parenting and has advocated strongly for this funding.
The Liberal Nationals appreciate the valuable contributions of community organisations like Olivia’s Place who contribute to the important work of strengthening families in these crucial periods.”
